Dr. Emeka Johnpaul Ogidi is a senior lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching, and received his PhD for his thesis titled "Trust, Familiness, Entrepreneurial Orientation and Performance in Multigenerational Family Firms: A Case Study of Nigeria" from University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Prior to joining the University of Jos, he was an associate (business and management consultant) in London, United Kingdom. His research focuses on trust, strategic management and entrepreneurship in family firms, and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He teaches Introduction to Business Economics I & II, Fundamentals of International Business, International Marketing, Economic Theory, and Managerial Economics. The geographical contexts for his research spans developed/emerging economies such as UK and Africa. He has a record of academic research, and consults for many organisations including SMEs in Nigeria and UK. He currently serves as a consultant to many businesses in Nigeria. Dr. Ogidi has undertaken collaborative research projects with researchers from the Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, Gombe State University and University of Jos. His research work has been published and/or forthcoming in leading scholarly journals such as Journal of Small Business Management, International Journal of Management Science Research, African Journal of Business and Economic Development. Dr. Ogidi is a reviewer for scholarly journals such as Organisational Studies, International Small Business Journal, and International Journal of Management Science Research.
